 Get ready for Chedi! 😉 We arrived at the gates of Chedi Club in our locally hired taxi 🚕(uber is not allowed in Ubud and there are no marked taxis). The two security guards asked our driver a few questions and then inspected the underbody of the vehicle before opening the gates for us to drive onto the property. Needless to say we felt very safe!  Our butler greeted us and opened our doors. He unloaded our belongings from the car, prior to escorting us through the immaculate grounds to the main villa where we checked in.  Here we were greeted with hot towels and tea. 🍵 We checked in and were then lead to our beautiful villa, by our own personal butler!  The outside of the villa was spacious, with a privacy fence. It included a private pool, cabana and outdoor jacuzzi tub! 🛀 The inside of the villa had a large king bed separate closet area & huge bathroom!🚽 it also had an entertainment area with a tv speaker and mini bar stocked with FREE beer 🍺, vodka, gin, whiskey 🥃, cashews & coconut cookies! 🥥🍪  *Every day each person staying in the villa is allowed to have six items of clothing laundered for free! This is amazing, especially for those who are traveling for an extended period of time! 👚👖👕👙👘👔  After settling into our villa we explored the rest of the property which is gorgeous, so lush and green with onsite rice paddy’s 🍚, trees 🌳 and flowers. 🌺 There is a large open air restaurant, beautiful lawn statues, a stone gate and a spa amongst the 20 villas.  At the spa we got balinese massages.💆🏻♂️ 💆🏼 they were wonderful, we left feeling refreshed & relaxed. The spa had a beautiful view of the rice paddy’s on the property which we enjoyed before and after our service.  Later that night we headed to the main pool villa for happy hour, which included the hotel’s specialty craft cocktails!🍸🍹The hibiscus infused vodka drink was fantastic! 🌺  The next day we had a picnic lunch on the hotel grounds, it was sensational & very romantic! It included snacks, salad, sandwiches, fruit and ice cream! 🥗🥪🍉🍌🍎🍨  The Chedi Club also offers rice paddy trekking and exploration of the nearby village. Our butler lead us on an hour long trek through the rice paddy’s before sunset. It was beautiful. The paddy’s are so pretty, each slightly different from the next. The nearby village is picturesque, Definitely go if you have the chance.  Prior to checking out on our last day, we had a floating breakfast 🌊🥞🍳 ☕️ What a treat! Our breakfast was delivered by our butler and set up in our private pool on a floating tray. It was such a fun and unique way to have breakfast, we would highly recommend it!  *The Chedi Club is a quick taxi 🚕 into town. Your butler can call a taxi for you or schedule the hotel car 🚗 (roughly $10 USD).
